It's a GIRL!

Welcome Megan Lucile!
6 lbs 2 oz 18 1/2 in

I won't bore you with descriptions. The boys love her, as you can see! The grandmas are estatic! And we can't believe there is actually a girl in the family now!

practicing for photo shoot

We are scheduled to go to Kerri's and have some pregnant pics taken with the boys on Monday. Last night I was having some contractions in the middle of the night and got a little antsy about missing our photo shoot, which we did when Mark was born. I dececided to have my sister help us with a "practice" photo shoot, just in case we don't make it until Monday! You know, now that I have "covered my bases" there will be no need to have, and we will make it past Monday and beyond. I know Kerri will do a great job, and can't wait to go visit!

Tulsa Trip

A few weeks ago we went on a small family vacation to Tulsa. We could not go too far from home, and Neil had scheduled a week of vacation to take before the new baby came. Here are some of the highlights of the hotel pool, zoo, and aquarium!
Shoulder rides to the deep end with dad.

Elephant show and pic w/ penguins for Mama Lou.

Giraffe in the background and spider boys!

baby news

Here are some belly pics, that I am not really too proud of, but will post for the sake of the out-of-towners. I have to say that with baby 3 have only taken 3 belly pics. (With Mitchell I took a pic after every Dr apt. So there are considerably more!) This may be the last pic we take. We will induce on Oct 3! Oh I can't believe it! It is a hard question to answer: do you want the baby to stay in and you continue being uncomfortable, but have more spare time, or do you want the baby out and then be totally consumed with the sleepless life of newborn care? Huh! Toughie!

24 weeks, 32 weeks, and today at 36 1/2 weeks!

With the baby comming in 2 weeks I am glad to say that I have finished my first baby project! It is about time! I made a bassinet cover to blend in with our room! Next up is the crib bedding!

Mark is eagerly awaiting the arrival of the baby and fills the bassinet with the same essentials every day! Doesn't every baby need pacis, a necklace (in case you go to mardi gras) and a credit card?

quick catch up

Happy Birthday Gi Gi
Over Labor Day weekend we drove, against my Dr's orders, to Nashville to celebrate Neil's Grandma's 80th birthday. It was lots of fun. Don't ask how Mitchell knows so much about tiarras!

1st day of School
We came back into town just in time for the 1st day of Sonshine School! The boys did great! Mark did not cry like he did almost everyday of last year, and Mitchell is learning to write his name! How exciting!

T-Ball
Are we crazy? Starting a 6 week t-ball season with a baby due in 4 weeks? Yes! But we are going to have so much fun! If we can remember it all! These are pics from the 1st game! I think Mitchell did well. He got two hits and got on base two times! He even got to play pitcher and catcher and got to throw the ball a few times and run after it many times! Mark clung to the fence clutching his glove and ball and begged , "Out there? Please, out there?" with big tears in his eyes! It was so sad! My heart aches for all the little siblings out there!
