the beach

a stranger took the 1st pic and Mitchell took the second!
The day following Mitchell's party, we headed out on a two week vacation! The best part was the beach, so here are a few pictures of how much fun in the sun we had! I think I could live there! Neil would rather be in Colorado! He also likes cats and I like dogs! Go figure! Somehow we still get along!
Neil and Mitchell played and Mark and I lounged. Well, Mark did more aranging of the chairs than lounging!
Mitchell loved the pool! He felt like he was a big boy! He cired when we made him leave to go down to the beach!
Mark said, "Wet!" and wanted out of the pool! Mark enjoyed arranging the chairs and spinning around a hand rail! Oh and he fell down seven concrete steps too!
The view of the pool from our condo. We could also see the ocean! The boys posing for a picture!
We loved splashing in a tidal pool and built several sand castles that Mark stepped on!
Oh! Me and my baby boys!
Thanks for viewing! Hope you enjoyed our vacation as much as we did!

Happy Birthday Mitchell!

Mitchell turned 4 a few weeks ago! OK, it was acutally almost a month ago, but with a two week long vacation, and a school program after that I got a little behind!

The party was an Incredibles theme party, so all the kids made superhero masks. Mitchell would like you to know that the real incredibles only had black masks; they did not have stickers on them! We played Twister to practice being Elast-i-girl, had a dash to practice being Dash, and ran a relay to practice being Mr. Incredible! They even saved a puppy at the end of the relay!

Happy Birthday Mark!

Here are some pics of the big day! We had a dino dig, ate dino cupcakes, and opened presents! The entire party lasted 1 hour and 45 minutes! It was Din-o-mite! Mark was so sweet and shy while we sang to him. He blew out his candle on the first try! Check out the way he ate his cake! He must have thought you had to eat like a dino too!

practicing

We are practicing holding our new baby that will be coming in October!
Love, Mitchell and Mark

Well, this is the way I wanted to break the news, but Neil decided I needed prayers and decided to make our announcement last night at church! So, thanks for praying! I got to see the baby again today. It is almost 12 weeks old and was moving all over the place! I could see fingers and feet, and it looked liked it waved at me as it put its hands near it's face. The nurse had a good idea about the pain I was having and I feel good about her explanation. So things are good.
